Passion was the first ingredient. Zarna's culinary journey began at the age of 12, fueled by the inherited wisdom and secret techniques of her mother and grandmother. While she mastered the art of traditional cooking, it was the precision and alchemy of baking that truly captured her heart.
Refining the Craft
To pair her natural intuition with technical excellence, Zarna earned her professional baking certification in 2015. This period was defined by mastering the science of dough, temperature, and texture — the very skills that would later define her signature puff pastry.
A New Chapter in Canada
After landing in Canada in 2018, Zarna began sharing her craft on a small scale, baking out of her home kitchen. What started as a modest venture quickly ignited a local sensation. By 2020, her home-baked puffs had become a community staple in Scarborough, known for their authentic taste and impeccable quality.
Becoming an Entrepreneur
In 2024, Zarna transitioned from a home baker to a business owner with the opening of her first physical store. Today, Zarna's Puffs Shakes and More stands as a testament to her dedication. With an exponentially growing customer base, she continues to innovate, bringing the warmth of her childhood kitchen to the wider Canadian community.
